Frequently Asked Questions...
This is the place to find answers about all the Who's, Wheres, Why's and What's about RAWW.

1.    Why the name change?
The goal of RAWW is to support women no matter their location. To better emphasize this goal we’ve dropped the LA from our name, because though we meet in LA we are a diverse group of women from all over the west coast.

2.    What’s RAWW’s purpose?
RAWW exists to provide women with:
a.    A safe opportunity to learn, explore and share knowledge on all aspects of BDSM.
b.    To meet and support other like-minded women from all factions of the Leather, BDSM, Kink, gay/bi & het communities. Of course, this includes networking, socializing, flirting and finding possible play partners
c.    To provide a venue to play in a female only space.

3.    Who’s welcome at RAWW events?

RAWW is an organization for women. Therefore, all women are welcome at our workshops and events.

For our purposes, women:
1.    Live as a woman 24/7
2.    Have NOT undergone any part of a transitioning process from Female to Male (including hormone therapy, or surgeries)

* We ask that those who do not identify as women respect the intent of the organization and not attend RAWW events.  We do have connections to other organizations so please feel free to contact us and we can help you.

4.    Where is RAWW on-line?
RAWW has a few different websites.

http://www.keepingitRAWW.weebly.com- This is our main RAWW website with links to our events, message board, contact, calendar, FAQ’s and mission statement. If you have one address to try to remember, this is it. All other sites can be connected to from here.

http://www.RAWW.yuku.com – this is our discussion board that also includes a calendar of events.   Like the Yahoo Group, you have to create a profile that the administrator will approve.  Then you can post to the boards.

http://www.myspace.com/keepingitRAWW – This is the new RAWW MySpace page because who DOESN’T have a MySpace these days?

6.    What’s The Academy?
The Academy is a beautiful 2000 sq ft loft/play space located in downtown Los Angeles.  It has a comfortable socializing area and kitchen.  The play space includes two crosses, two bondage tables, two spanking benches, a sling, suspension bar, a beautiful chain web and much more.

7.    Where can I park?

There is a monitored parking lot right next door to the building. If this lot is closed due to filming, we highly recommend parking in the lot around the corner at the $5 lot at 6th & Main. Additionally, you can also park in the street.  Yellow curbs and meters are free after 6:00PM.  Carpooling is also a great way to divide parking expense.

8.    What if I can’t afford to attend the monthly events?
We are working hard to provide quality, affordable events.   If the cost is an issue, please don’t stay away.  Contact Mistress Shae directly about options like volunteering for a discount on admission.
